i pull up to this modded civic tonight. its a typical late 90s 2 door 5-speed civic. its lowered, loud ass exhaust. he had other visual stuff going on, didn't have time at the light to check the whole car out. he has AEM stickers all over... that could mean nothing but who knows?
well anyway, i didn't know we were gonna run until the light turns green so i didn't dump the clutch or launch or anything. and 2nd gear in my car is FUCKED so it takes me a while to get it in. so by the time i get it in second, chirp the tires, i'm even with his rear bumper. well all through second i'm pullin on him, slowly catchin up. i speed shift third, he's still winding out second, and i slowly pull past him. i let off about 75-80 and he was on my rear bumper.... not bad considering i'm not modded at all, except a short ram, and he at the very least had an exhaust and probably had more....

and you can make fun of my stock 15s all day, they may be ugly but they don't slow me down like other big ass wheels will!!! lol and yea speakin of weight, that's why i love my dx.. it weighs wat, like 2800? i know its a shit ton lighter cuz it doesn't have all that electric bs slowin it down....
