14.9@95 (had about 50-60lbs of tools i forgot to get rid of) and 14.8 @95...i'm too scared to launch. I was slipping it at maybe 3500rpm so i wouldn't snap another axle. 2.3 and 2.4 60ft's show that i'm not trying at the line anymore. Bogging down on purpose until i have faith in the new axles. And since i was about 100 miles away from home...imagine the towing ($250-350)if i'd broken another axle. Theres something missing tho...i can't really explain it but it was faster. I know my dizzy timing is off cause i never set it back to 16~17 degrees when i dropped the tranny. I'm slowly gaining more faith in the axles tho. If you've ever been stranded at the track (over 45 miles from home) then you understand why i'm being so precautious. And maybe it was the humidity but from all the people i talked to everyone was running .5-1 full second slower than norm. I'll gain my confidence by saturday hopefully cause i'm going back to the 1/8th mile and i'm lookin for 9.2's or bust
p.s. I would have done more runs but ppl kept running with their a/c's on and the track officials kept shutting it down to clean up. From open to 30 minutes b4 close i only managed 2 runs. Like 4 cars managed to run from 9pm to 10:30 when i left, sad huh?
And my apologies for no 13'sLast edited by MRX; 10-21-2004, 12:16 PM.Knowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word

Couldn't take the car to the track this sat. because of a last minute clamp problem on my bov...fixed now but should have been fixed then because i found out there is another...yes another turbo f22 cb7 that is the same color as my car! Apparently he was at the track. I'm trying to get his times later on but resources say he was dumb...seek and destroyKnowledge is power...in EVERY sense of the word

Goodluck I know i wont have any trouble beating him ask on the low what is he runnin and say your shit is slow gets em everytime. its kinda hard for me cause people hear the sequential one that sounds like moe curly and larry whooo, whoo, whoo, whoo. just make sure its running right before you run him.

4K seems to be the sweet spot right now. I can control tire spin with the throttle and it hooks up pretty good. The new axle is holding. I think the last one was a defect because looking at the core it was slightly odd colored in the center
per 2003 wrx owner that rode in my car: "i refuse to race you from a roll."
