We had our points event #4 today. I ran in Novice Street Modified today again.
I had the following setup that felt pretty good as far as suspension settings:
Neuspeed Race/KYB AGX struts. Front struts set to 4 (stiffest). Rear struts set to 4 (middle).
40 psi hot in front tires
32 psi hot in rear tires
As far as auto-x with Nitto NeoGens, eh, I don't know anymore. I think that the fact that the NeoGen tire is all season rated does not help it at all. I really want Falken Azenis RT-615. Maybe the Hankook Ventus RS-II.
Still pushing through some corners. Clutch is totally fried. Not actually slipping, but it has almost no feel at all. 2nd gear grinds if at high rpm/shifting fast.
Results:
Run 1: 39.931
Run 2: 39.062 +1 cone/second
Run 3: 39.511
Run 4: 40.407
Run 5: 39.694 +1 cone/second
Raw time finished 88/108
PAX time finished 96/108 (PAX is a multiplier applied to classes to "even out" the times, the PAX for Street Modified is not very helpful)
Class time finished 8/9 in Novice class. (PAX multiplier must be used here because the cars come from all kinds of different classes.
