Is that really the way to go? I know maybe the ls2 or ls3 might be pretty nice, but it seems a bit too heavy for one of those cars, at least without a lot of modifications.

My friend had a 00 T/A with the Ls2, it was definitely fast. Fun drift car, too.. lol.. but not so smart with a drop top!

If I remember correctly the lsx motors in RX-7, miata and the 240sx weight in at factory weight or less. In fact in the rx-7 it moves the weight to the rear with a close that stock 50-50 weight distribution. In the miata it weights factory! In both the rx-7 and 240sx they run 11s out the box with a set of slicks. I'm not sure what the miata runs.
Oil leak? What oil leak? That's just sweat from all that horsepower!

aww thats lame. i hate anything american named. lol but if thats the direction your heading then thats cool. by the way the turbo i listed is better than a disco potato. it can put more power down than the disco potato. its a step above. my turbo actualy died yeasterday so i gotta get another turbo for right now.

The rx-7 only loses weight with a stripped lsx motor. There is a guy on campus here at Clemson with an fd body with an ls1 in it. That car is nasty, but again is only loses the weight because you delete all the accessories.

lol for some reason I read gt28rs instead of 71. Thats the turbo I'm putting in my Audi for hopes of a fun highway cross-country car. but yeah from what I understand its not much more lag for a good gain in power at least 50whp.

I see. I need more research but I'm assuming its close to factory with all the accessories in tacked. I just need a/c the p/s I don't have to have tho it would be nice to keep.
