Since my car is finally ready, I headed out to the street races last night. I was on the bottle all night so I raced a few cars that are worth writing about....
First, I raced a twin turbo 300zx that was boosting 20 something psi. He said he ran an 8.3 in the 1/8 mile. It was a pretty close race, but I screwed up shifting a little bit and he took me by about a car length.
Then I raced a gsr with some kind of head swap or something like that(I don't really know too much about them
). He was also running a 75 shot. I ended up taking him by about a car and a half.
Then I raced the new 350Z. He had an upgraded intake manifold and cold air intake. I beat him pretty easily... There was also a crotch rocket going along with us in this race. He was freaked out because I started pulling him on the top end a little bit. He still beat me, but damn he must not have been able to drive because I know I'm not in that league yet.

That's me and my car on the slicks. I was lined up next to the turbo 300 zx.
