I hate these threads... I'll keep it though, I guess... There IS a 1/4 Mile thread that you could read. All you need to do is see what people are running.

My best was 15.577 with I/E and a UR crank pulley. The car was also in need of a tuneup, had 3/4 tank of gas, as well as a toolbox and spare in the trunk. This was on steelies, my first time at the track, and NOT my best. My shifting was a tad too early (fell out of VTEC each time) and my launches were WAY too conservative (and my tires were total shite.)

With my mods, I should be able to get about 14.8, I'm guessing. That's with a tuneup, and no extra weight.

With the H22, an aftermarket header really isn't necessary. In fact, if you don't spend over $500 on a header, chances are you'll lose HP in the usable RPM range. Cheaper headers, even DC Sports, cause one of two things. Overall losses in HP, or gains up high (like 6500) and losses down low.

On top of that you have to modify the downpipe collector to see a little bit more to 2.5 . Damn and the most one is 1000 now and with the car lowered that shit scrapes the ground and gets crushed with no skidplate say goodbye.

With intake, chipped ecu (vtec at 4700), exhaust, street tires, stock suspension (junk launches), I ran a nice 15.1 at 93 mph. I'm looking foward to hitting the 14's after suspension upgrading and better launches.
          ............................. Do you have VTEC?

ive ran 4-5 legit 14.7's on my G-timer all on flat pavement...

MODS:V2, DC Sports Header, Tanabe Hyperspec, lsd, 5K launches......
            DOHC VTEC, BITCHES!

At this point, I wouldnt know what I run. Im still doing my swap.

As for the header, the JDM header flows better than everything out there on the market, sans the Mugen. However, I dont feel like dropping a grand on a manifold that will eventually get replaced when I go turbo. I got ATX's downpipe that is cut right after the oxygen sensor, and im actually going to cut it back further, and weld in a 2.5" collector where it goes 2-1. New flexpipe, O2 sensor bung (yeah, thats what they are called) and a cat, and im gonna be good to go
