Any one have any effing idea...

as to why the fan on my supra is constantly on? I know it has a fan clutch that engages and disengages it at certain temps. But the fan clutch, all of the belts, and even the water pump are brand new. But it seems like my fan is ALWAYS fully engaged. I know that when the engine is cool, the fan clutch is disengaged to the point to where you could stop it with your hand.

but like i said, its always on, its freaking loud and annoying, and my car feels really sluggish because it has such a heavy load on the fan.

like i said, the fan clutch is new,
water pump and belts are new.
my car is never hot, its usually a quarter past cold.

my car sounds like an airplane, some one help me out.

You could always replace it with electric fans.

and make the fan noise even more noticeable?

Keep in mind, my car's engine may be big(compared to 4 bangers) but im not running a turbo, and it dosent run hot.

I know what engine you run.

Get rid of the big fan. Get two large ish electrics on the back of the rad and hook one of them up to a thermostat, the other to a switch inside.

If you ever go turbo, I wouldnt reccomend this.

Best bet right there I am going to do that with my MKIII. There is a write up somewhere on supraforums. Or you can buy the whole kit which is predone. But they say to use like a corolla switch and just wire it up like you normally would. Electric fans are quieter too.

some one told me on supraforums that my thermostat may be stuck open, and the radiator is getting a full flow of coolant, making my fan spin what seems like always.

any truth to this? Does the tstat even effect a belt driven fan?

I do not know anything about belt driven fans. That is why I suggested electric.

Find out what sensor triggers the fan clutch, and make sure it is in spec.

I would think the CTS triggers a signal but dont have a wiring diagram to confirm.
