Dont mean 2 be outa place here but i cant find an answer to the problem im havin with my 91 ls400 tranny, it seems like something simple and i know some people here are knowlegable about various cars. car shifts fine when its not at its hottest temp. but once u drive for a while it feels like car shifts from 1st to 3rd or 4th and stays in that gear. i changed fluid and filter fluid was dark, sometimes i smell tranny fluid burning this makes me think it has something to do with the temp of the tranny fluid..any one who may be able to tell me something or came across this before PLEEESE help..91 ls400

You just may need a rebuild. They're cheapo at the bone yard. Just gotta have the space and tools
