    shern : 1993 Lexus SC300

    Hello

I'm a fairly new member to the CB7 forum but not to the CB7 family. I've owned six Accords in my lifetime and currently am on my second CB7. After owning a 1990 years back, I knew exactly what car I would be using as a daily driver to the project car you see here.

This car has way too many mods to list so I'll just list the high level stuff.

    1993 Lexus SC300
    - 1JZ-GTE 2.5L twin turbo motor from Toyota Soarer
    - 24x12 front mount intercooler
    - fully custom intercooler piping
    - Greddy Profec Type S boost controller
    - 5spd W58 transmission
    - ACT 6 puck clutch
    - LS400 BBK
    - custom Magnaflow exhaust system with cat delete
    - Supra TT shocks with Eibach springs
    - 97+ front bumper
    - Blitz Type03 18" staggered wheels

I recently dynoed the car. Running the stock ceramic twins at ~13PSI boost, I hit 290whp and 290wtq. I do have plans to go single eventually to get above 400whp.

I currently have a set of 19" PIAA Super Rozzas getting ready to go on. I spent alot of time shaving the fenders as the PIAAs have very aggressive offsets.

In addition, I plan to install an Auto Couture or Vertex body kit in the spring along with Tein Flexes to prepare for the show circuit in 2008.

    Here are the pics:

Thanks for the comments guys. Be on the lookout for additional mods soon.

The SC was available in a five speed early on but it dwindled down to a low of ~120 5 speeds in 1997. The 1997 5 speed is probably the most sought after SC out.

The SC/Soarer was never available with the Getrag 6 speed as in the Supra. The Japanese Soarer JZZ30 with the 1JZ came with the R154 5 speed transmission which is super stout (up to ~750whp). It is the tranny I look forward to dropping into my car.

damn, that is a clean ass lexus. i have always loved those cars, but possibly the biggest douche bag in my entire high school had one and i couldnt see an sc300 for a LONG time without thinking of that bastard. i love those blitz wheels. the vertex kit will set it off and away from all the other show competitors. my advice to you is to shave the center lights when you install it, it makes the car look much cleaner.

                              Verothacamaro; fuck off and die.

The gold in the engine bay is a tad bit much. But its super clean. If that motor is healthy it has a lot of potential, just dont use cheap parts when you start chasing power.

Just a random fact, if you know how to tune extremely well, 400 ish whp is achievable with stock turbines.

Also, get a set of good coilovers. May I suggest RSR.

                              But.

                              You sunk my battle ship.
