2007 Honda Element EX, only 87,043 miles at time of purchase:

Bought this for my son for graduation (he'll pay for some of it). Tentatively named it "Larry" (short for Lawrencium - gotta be an element, right? - in honor of his grandfather).
ENGINE:
K24A8
TRANSMISSION:
Stock 5 speed automatic, all wheel drive.
SUSPENSION/WHEELS:
Stock,
- fairly new tires
- new pads and rotors at all four wheels
EXTERIOR:
Stock
- Atomic Blue Metallic
- Polished and restored headlights
INTERIOR:
Stock
- no tearing at the left side of the driver seat like a lot of them.
AUDIO/ELECTRONICS:
Stock AM/FM/CD, 270 Watt
Future Plans:
Engine: May install the candy blue valve cover I had done for my other Element in this one to match the exterior, then redo the one from this for the other.
Exterior: We talked about a silver pinstripe a little further up on this one.
First services were a 2x (so far) drain/refill of the transmission; the fluid that came out still looked pretty good (dark red, but certainly not as ugly as some honey colored ones I saw). Used Meguiar's Medium Restoration kit on the headlights. Ordered a large syringe to facilitate filling the differential. Installed aluminum hood release handle (plastic one was broken), replaced one backup bulb. The one common thread on many Elements is a fairly rusty rear bumper beam; again, this one isn't as bad as most I saw, but still more than I'd like to see. I will probably buy a new one, undercoat it, install it, then have the removed one stripped/derusted, powder coated, probably undercoated, then install it in the other Element.
