Needs more low! And more LS goodies.

I'm in the process of swapping a 350 for an LM7 at school in an 89' Chevy 1500.

Might just lower it in the future.

Might just lower it. Gotta see how low I can go without modding the rear frame.

Update on the truck, both front window regulators went. The cable snapped on one, and the plastic gears on the other ones motor broke apart. I also found out the hard way, that because of the knock sensors location ,they can fill up with water. screwing then up. Now I gotta find a knock sensor kit for it. Plus the brake fluid level sensor is bad. Gotta see if I can bypass it.

Don't know if you repaired the knock sensors yet, but put some RTV around the rubber seals when you put it together. Keeps the water out.

Those bed sides crack quite easily, be careful with them.

Otherwise looks good. Outside of the rust belt you should be able to get 400K+ miles out of one of these trucks besides the occasional transmission rebuild. Up here they rust BAD after 10-15 years.

I did it like that after putting in new sensors & harness. but now I got the codes again. gotta see whats up with that this weekend. got a few maintenance items to take care of too.

and Ive seen some snowbirds try and sell those rusty ones here. for the price of rust free local ones. theyre nuts.

btw, I did see that theyre plastic bed sides. one was repaired and has cracked again FTL. might go with a regular bed.
