Charlie : 1998 Honda Civic Si

long time no talk guys. so after selling my cb7 ive moved on to a da9 that i bought off my buddy i was gonna make it my project but it was way to rotted. ended up pulling the motor and scrapping the car. i pulled the motor(b18b) so i can build ls vtec, so now i was just looking for a clean shell which i found. a 1998 civic si ej8 250k , 5 speed new brakes clutch and no rust, he was asking 1200 but i got it down to 500 bucks i bought the car and drove it home. the car does need work i did find out it has a rebuilt title(still trying to figure out what happened) but i have big plans for it.

future plans : 2000 front end swap/rear tails and sir spoiler, finish my ls vtec and install, drop it on some nice 15's, keep it clean !

only pic i got right now

A no rust shell for $500 is a solid start. I'm not sure about up north but in the states the ek Si was 99-00.

Post the VIN here http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=201698 and maybe reklipz can help you figure out the deal with the rebuilt title.

He's in Canada. CDM SI = USDM EX.

I think the SiR in Canada was the Si in the US. I had an acquantance in HS who had a gorgeous 2000 SiR coupe in red with OZ Superlegga wheels and some real nice subtle custom touches here and there. One of the cleanest I've ever seen to this day.

Good luck with this project, it looks very promising if you can keep at it! I always liked this gen of Civic, one of the best I think.
