    turbo_p: 1994 EDM Accord CC7

This was my 1994 EDM Accord 2.0i (115hp).

I built a remote mount turbo set-up just to see if it worked with some old bits 'n' pieces I had laying around.

    Specs:
    F20A4 EDM prelude engine (133hp)
    Chipped P05 with ostrich
    370cc Accel Injectors
    Bosch BOV
    Garret .42/.48 T3 Volvo
    Tilton diff oilpump for return

    Time for some pics

    First installed some guages

First pump try. After this changed to the Tilton.

    The turbo

    And my Edelbrock oil ring

First construction day to check if it would fit.

    And construction of the up-pipe.

    (almost) finished pictures.

It ran pretty good. Once properly warmed up it had full boost around 3500-3750rpm.

A short vid just to check A/F
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tizUvX_bGfg

Max boost was 8 Psi but the turbo was nowhere in its efficiency range.
I sold the car without the turbo on it as the engine was deciding to pack up. and i got a good price for it.
    That's it I guess...

That's pretty sick! I've seen it done on a corvette, but wow!

You got that right. Basically should have sized the turbine side better and the compressor for that matter. Keeping in mind that the exhaust wasn't fully up to temp in this run.

A .60 compressor and a .36 turbine would have been the best bet if i wanted to stay with the ancient T3. And a proper external wastegate.
If this weren't built on the cheap/leftovers i'd probably go with a GT2256V.

Maybe if I were to build something like this again...
