    turbomaxx: 1998 Dodge Ram 1500

    Here's the Ram.

    Specs:
    1500
    5 speed
    318CI V8
    4 wheel drive
    Mopar Towing kit
Muffler delete (still has catalytic and resonator, just no muff)
    3" blocks
    2" front spacer

    Plans:
    Moar lift.
    Bigger tires/Mud tires
14x3 air hat to replace intake setup
    bore out throttle body
    tail light covers
    Light bar w/ KC daylighters
    Tow hooks

I really, don't want to change a whole lot about this rig... I love it just the way it is, but at the same time know I can improve it some as well.

You're not JDM until you have a car built in ohio with tons of bolt ons from ebay.

Yes sir, I lived in VA when I joined, but we are originally from southern Ia. Finally got to move back after an 8 year absence! it feels DAMN good to be home!!

Thanks, too, I painted this truck 2 years ago in my auto body class. It came out flawless. So I'm really pleased with it since I've already got time invested in it.

She's sittin on 99,300 miles at the moment. Pretty good for a 13 year old truck!

She'll tip over 100,000 this weekend though when I take a road trip with my girlfriend to go see all my family 5 hours North in Milford, Ia.

Awwww, looks so cute and little.

3" lift and 35"s will look nice. I have BFG All-Terrain T/A KO tires on mine. They're a great, long lasting a/t tire. But, they're not awesome in deep, thick mud.

Oh yea i remember when you were in VA.

I was just curious about Mount Ayr, never heard of it so i google mapped it to see what the area looks like etc. and noticed that Missouri was like a rocks throw from your town center lol.

Wow you painted it? Did you post about that on here...i feel like i remember someone painting a vehicle for class...

Came out damn good, i swear to god i thought it was a factory paint lol.

99...not bad..she looks real nice for 99k thats for sure.

Thanks guys! Yeah, I did post about it actually! I painted the roof my first year, and sprayed the rest year 2.

Today I got the muffler off, but I kept the cat and resonator. Sounds AMAZING!! I'm trying to find something to prop my phone on for a video now, actually.

And I found some mud to play in down at the New lake, Loch Ayr. I'm completely head over heels in love with this ram.

BTW, found out while she was on the lift that it's got 3" blocks in the rear already and a 2" spacer up front.

Guess my lift is done!! HAHA.... Maybe I'll go higher, but these are my next purchase... $680.

Really? Makes me second guess my lift. Mine was about that high prior to shackles and spacers. Maybe mine just sat a little higher due to it being a 2500.

                    Yeah I was surprised, too.

Oh well. It'll clear the buckshot mudders I'm getting soon, so I'm happy.

I added some more pics, now with my dad's K9 and NRA decals off and my Jegs and K&N, and my 4x4 club decal on. Also, Interior pic. I love the 5 speed in that thing, it shifts sooooo smooth for a big, rugged truck.
