I was about to buy a 90 Si, but it just had too much wrong with it for the price. 4WS was pretty neat though.

Interesting...I purposely didn't get 4ws. Its heavy, difficult repairs, and make the vehicle dynamics very strange. That's just my take on it. The fastest cars in the world don't have 4ws even.

You should get one though! The potential is there, you just have to dig deeper than you would have to with the CB7.

4WS isn't necessarily a pro nor a con in my opinion. If it's there, cool. If it's not, no big deal.

It definitely has potential. Light, agile, a certainly not a commonly modified car.

5 pounds? OP might as well take a dump before he goes for a drive.

Got my dashboard totally dismantled so I can clean it and prepare it for the SEM color coat. It should look pretty slick when it's done.

I'm ordering my mounts and traction bar this week. Then, I'm going to do a tune-up on the cb7's engine (the engine that's going into the prelude). New timing belt, water pump, vc and spark plug tube seal gaskets, new plugs, oil change, might swap a f22a6 cam in, reset valve lash, etc.

Then, gotta finish the wiring on the Prelude, and I need to get to work with the suspension/brakes as well. I'm just kind of doing things as I can right now.

The accord is being sent to the big garage in the sky after the swap to the prelude is complete.

lol i wrecked it quite a while ago. That's why I haven't been posting in my cb7's member's ride thread.

I guess you didn't see these pictures:

ok smarty pants... first of all nobody takes 5lbs dumps and second, I dropped almost 300lbs from my old Civic by removing 5lbs here and 5 there. It adds up quick. Not to mention that weight reduction = better handling, faster acceleration, faster braking, better mpg, and less wear on the engine!

                          Sorry OP.

Its cool. I just don't feel that its worth removing the exhaust heat shield, especially since I don't have AC. I don't need to make it even hotter in the cabin. Also, the weight of the heat shield is much less than the CB7's even. It doesn't have multiple sections to it like the CB7's does, and its at such a low point on the car that it isn't going to hurt anything.

If I were going to remove my exhaust heat shield, I would be taking out the sunroof as well but I am not for the time being. For now this is also my daily so it needs to remain mild. Once I buy a new car to DD, then this car will become the balls-out race car.

                              Fast progress.

Those CB7 alloys are sex...I wish I could buy them from you. They would look odd on my car though.
