EM Civic Macco Paintjob Pictures!!

So I just got it back today. I'm pretty happy with the job concerning how big the dent was. The dents are all set. I have a few small dings here and there but I was not concerned with that.

They fixed 2 huge dents and a huge scratch on my hood. Now since I drive ALL the time 50,000+ miles a year My bumper and hood was all chipped/peeling. Apparently the spots with missing paint down to the hood they just sprayed over.. which kinda looks like ass. But I can get a new hood and id be set. Also the bumper has been cracked and TONS of chips, they TRYED to fix it but the paint wouldn't stay. Not a big concern with me because I plan on getting a new bumper anyways.

The overall paint job to me seems okay. very limited overspent. Got some on my tail light but that's it. I saw a screw up around my drivers door where looks like it got some bondo or something and it was painted over. and it didn't get painted... but can't really notice unless your up close..

Overall I would rate the Macco In North Chelmsford, Ma a 6 out of 10. They had my car for a FULL day and a Half Day. For 750.00 I guess I got what I paid for but the car overall looks great.

I have not yet washed it to pardon all the dust on the car. I will have better pics soon.

what type paint price did you get i know they have like 3 different types.....which one did you get?

Wayne that isnt half bad.

Some sore spots but with a new bumper and hood you would be set my friend.

Also I'm fucking HEATED. I just went to the exhaust place to have them fix a rattle, and fucking, they got PAINT all over my fucking greddy SP2?

You could try varsol, if you wanted to get a really nice finish, get a white Scotch pad and scuff it off. Then get some good metal polish and polish the shit outta it.

just get some paint thinner from home depot it will take it off ur muffler just dont get any on the car

For the paint on the tail light, you could probably get a claybar kit at Autozone or whatever. Those are pretty good at cleaning up paint transfer and overspray. You could give it a shot on the exhaust too, if it's only a few specks. If the whole thing is covered though, you're better off trying some of the other suggestions on the exhaust.

That looks like a real nice job Wayne. As for the paint on the muffler just use a little bit of Acetone or Aircraft remover (if that sp2 is stainless steel double check to see if the Aircraft remover paint will be safe to use).

MACCO, i dont think ill go to them.

My buddy, has a CB9, and he payed 500 for a paint job,

red, already mixed with clear, and they only put 3 quarts, also came with 3 yr gloss warrenty.
