A friend of mine said he might be interested in trading his 5th generation Celica for my Third gen Camaro.
I really like the Celica... I really like my Camaro... haha.
Pros of the Camaro:
Many aftermarket parts
Fast
Fresh Paint and body work
Pros of the Celica:
Fresh paint and body work
Aftermarket Exhaust (haven't looked, but I'm sure it's just the muffler, but it sounds fantastic)
5 speed
GREAT interior
Flip up headlights (hey, I LOVE flip ups)
Valid VA Inspection
Cheap to insure
Great gas mileage
I can get in and out easily, and the seat is comfortable
Cons of the Camaro:
Won't pass inspection
Needs ALOT of money to fix it to pass inspection
Terrible mileage
needs wheels/tires
automatic
Transmission leaks
Cons of the celica:
Kind of a girl car
Not really very fast (though that doesn't REALLY matter, my driving has calmed down significantly lately)
I think it would be a good deal, I mean, money is getting kind of tight, so the increase in fuel mileage, and the cheaper insurance would be a nice change. Not to mention that the Celica would make a great daily driver as far as reliability is concerned.
I'm looking for information/specs/recalls etc. on Celica's right now, but I was just curious what you guys knew/thought about them.
