Yeah, it just bothers me to make modifications like that to that part of the engine.

Also, isn't there some issue dealing with the AWD and converting it to RWD. It has to do with the ECU or something, right? I didn't find much about that.

Of course, we also can't forget the clearance issues with the twin turbo set-up.

All that being said though... oh how I would love to have an RB26DETT sitting in the bay of my 240... Such an awesome powerhouse of a motor.
I just wish it wasn't so damned expensive. =/

If you need any advice on the chassis or what the 'best' mods are I'd be glad to help. At any rate have fun with it.

On a side note we just got an rb28 s13.5, its fun.

Don't know if better lighting is an interest, but saw this on craigslist just now.

                          It's a MT.
Actually I'm going to do a silvia front-end conversion, so the current headlights will eventually be gone. I can't help but like the "brick" style headlights on the silvia.

I did find an FC for sale nelson, but I opted for this instead. Plus my friend is probably going to get an FC and put a V8 in it.

Lildcb7: I thought about giving an advance notice to you, but oh well. You reacted how I figured you would.

i think the best little powerhouse nissan came out with was the CA18 the ones used before the SR20's its lighter and bout the same process as a sr20.... hit me up if you go RB, did it with my buddies S14.... its one of the hardest things ive ever done to a car haha and hes got some serious turbo power sitting under his... leaks like a bitch though (crappy couplings) and doesnt hit full boost til 5.5K for now but its balls to the wall fast. good luck whatever you choose

No the CA isnt lighter than the SR20. The SR is all aluminum. The CA is iron.
