Not a bad little hatch. I would love to have that SR16VE N1 in my sentra. I can see why they never brought it to the states though. Not to appealing to the average person. Only a select few would ever buy something like that. Probably the same reason that Honda lost money on the ITR. What do you think?

When the ITR was sold new y didn't sell like they should. That car actually cost money as opposed to making it. It was one of the most expensive Hondas to build. The dealers couldn,t sell enough of them fast enough to cover the production cost.

Hatchbacks supposedly don't do well in the US... I don't understand that claim, since the Golf has been huge, and Civic hatchbacks are pretty common.

We had one Pulsar, but it was pretty pathetic... and it didn't do all that well in sales. Had that been more popular here, we probably would've gotten the later models. I like the newer Pulsar GTI-R... There's one here in NJ. It passed me on the street and my jaw dropped It was beautiful, and had a freakin HUGE FMIC!

Speaking of GTIR, I wonder if the guy you saw spent as much as this guy.

Holy crap stuff is expensive over there! To convert from Pounds to US dollars, it's roughly double... so 25,000 pounds is $50,000! But he said his pistons alone cost 1000! Ouch!
