I think I would keep it pretty much stock.

The ONLY thing I don't absolutely love about that car is the clear cover in the hood showing a plastic cover over the engine. It just doesn't have the effect it does on say, a Ferrari, where you are looking at actual sexual noise making parts.

I do not like the car. I do not like what it stands for. I love many old American muscle cars, but not this. I can still appreciate it for what it is though, as a machine not a symbol.

However, a Corvette is a Corvette. A Corvette. The General have made the car for an eon, and it has been an icon of the 'middle aged successful American man' for so long. To many the Corvette is an automatic status symbol. To some, it isnt. Yes, the same could be said about many other cars. But without knowing someone, I would respect someone who owns a Ferarri more before someone who has a Corvette. Of course, that can all change once you know the person.
