The fact that its NEW, and you can make pretty decent power UNDER WARRANTY, are pretty much the only reasons why I would buy one.(i wouldnt)

id much rather stick with a 20 year old toyota and throw a rod every year!

Yes my sentiments exactly. I for one love my srt4 aside from the bad name its been givin by other owners. Alot of them feel the same way about hondas. And being that i used to be a honda owner i got to know how both sides were feeling.

In actuality its pretty much the same from both sides nontheless on whos wreckless and who's cocky. From my point of view honestly it doesnt move me, im just in it for the ride for the right reasons and thats me and my car alone. Fighting over some domestic vs import thing is like fighting over colors and crayons no matter how much is pointed out its still well ......retarded Now getting back to the facts

Most of these srt4's do have torque steer mostly the 2003 models. next time you drive in one ask which year it is. then drive the 2004-2005 models torquesteer is completely eliminated due to the fact is has a quaife lsd,not obx none of those parts are in there just quality parts.

the 2003 models have slightly less power and less torque than its offspring the 2004-2005 models Which is why the stage 1 for the 2003 models you get an ecu with a more agressive map and slightly bigger injectors. On the other hand the 2004-2005 models dont need the injectors they just get the ecu.

As fas as power and torque and not being able to get traction in this car because its pretty fast it has a more higher torque output but its slightly plaged because of its tire to wheelbase surface not making enough contact with teh tirepatch on the ground creates alot of wheelspin.

This can be controlled with drag radials which i prefer or an the nde tcs traction control system. When you go through mopar and are concerned with traction issues the staged kits that you order from them for a little extra money you can get the toys option bezel switch which looks like this:

This bezel switch fits directly into the dash without any modifications whatsoever this controls the ecu's power output for use of dragradial tires, streettires, rain driving, snow driving on demand with just a click of the dial a boost switch formally known as D.A.B . This controls the power and torque output. Thats the image you see the switch is a little wheel with the number on it you press it in and either push up or down to crank up or turn down the boost.

As far as the handling. Its best that the suspension from the factory is in need for an upgrade for people who like to handle their cars around the corner more agressively without the need of scraping their chasis or the undercarage of the car with its turbo components. Thats a nono so inturn the stage 1 mopar springs along with some strutbars was good for me on the NYC streets

but thats about it, no to hate, but 350Z would change your mind about neck snapping; owequitit: WEAK NECKS LOLZ

Honestly driving wise in a quartermile race is has to me my boy who drives a 2003 and i have a 2004 big difference in the limited slip differential. And i drove his car before its a p.i.t.a to drive.

u guys are funny. BTW im too poor for an Srt4 haha...i gotta get my classes goin first...Priorities first remember!? tahaha other wise my ass would've been in the armed forces already...but lol we're goin off subject again. ..and by the time i get enough money...idk...its whatever comes up to my mind for deciding i guess...i mean...i do have another ride that's a 99' civic coupe and i could just swap that or wever...but then again that's too typical towards a civic IMO...so that's why i'd rather drive the accord ...better everything compared to the civic....Well except for the outlook on the accord haha.

A 350z is a RWD 300hp V6 sportscar, though... not a low-end commuter car equipped with a powerful engine. There is no weaksauce version of the Z. Comparing the two is pointless... although, the SRT-4's quarter mile times are pretty close, and the pricetag is considerably less.

But yeah, to each his own. I'm a Hyundai fan, and I KNOW not many people will back e there! The new Genesis Coupe (probably going to be the next Tiburon) is interesting enough to me that it just may be my first new car...

i want a tiburon i think they look nice, and they go pretty cheap, i rarely get harrassed by srt-4 owners, i get harrassed by evo owners, i can't stand them. Alway pull up next to me(when the car was running lol) and bov in my ear. So i would get annoyed and blow right back. The funny thing is when you race them and you either keep up or pass them and they have the wtf look or they pull off so they don't have to deal with you never got the chance to race an srt-4 wanted to but never did. I also got alot of 5.0s that wanted to race me
