The new EVO X does not even have a 4G63. It will have a 4B11, which I highly doubt is interchangeable with a 4G63.

Sorry about that, my question wasn't really clear. But is Buscher racing gonna do something with the 4B11 like what they did with the 4G63 (BR330 - BR350)?

i read the article in motor trend.....i was very very disappointed...i am a big fan of evo's and was let down big time...a good friend of mine has a 2006 evo 9 mr and i ablsolutely love that car.....the evo X is slower to 60, slower on the 1/4mile, heavier,slower around the track,and im not feeling the whole automatic thing...to me the evo is a performance car...if want something comfortable dont get an evo...if u want something fast that handles really good out of the box get an evo...i think Mitsubishi screwed up bad imo.

Yeah, I hear you, but in the every ongoing quest to increase sales, companies try to make everything softer so that it will appeal to a broader audience. I think the DSG gearboxes are awesome, so that doesn't bother me.

Just that I have dealt with faster things than the EVO, and they don't really do it for me anymore.

LOL..Wouldn't it be insult to injury if the new STI ended up pwning it? unlikely, but still...lol
