The 350z and GTR look the same in ways. Thats where it ends. I had a bitch about it too, but thats not relevant. The R35 has some ridiculous numbers, along with one of the most advanced AWD systems known to man. I cant wait till people start modding them. BTW that VR38DETT sounds like straight orgasm. I seen the you tube videos. I really wish they would have kept the skyline name. Two cars i was looking foward to seeing again. One is the GTR and the other is the RX-7. Cant wait for that one either.

It is a potent car, but I prefer something more direct, and less automated myself.

To create the performance of a $400,000 supercar, Mizuno started with an all-new PM (premium-midship) chassis. Distinct from the FM (front-midship) configuration of such rear-drive Nissans as the 350Z and Infiniti G35, the PM chassis features an independent-transaxle-based all-wheel-drive system. Sending engine output to a rear-mounted transmission is believed to be a first for a front-engine all-wheel-drive production car due to cost and complexity (it needs two driveshafts), but there are key advantages. The first is better weight distribution; a transaxle layout puts more weight over the rear tires and helps the GT-R achieve near 50:50 weight distribution under acceleration. At rest the ratio is more like 53:47.

i admire the corvette, but it falls in line with most american cars

            over-glorified v8s, pushrod at that

i've heard cammed vettes, but besides the nutting factor on part/full throttle, they need hella traction to USE ANY OF IT

the GTR is in par w/vettes, lambo, porsches, etc.; cost less; and actually USES ALL OF ITS POWER USEFULLY

I did gagoogity that girl. I gashmoigitied her gaflavity with my googis. And I am sorry.

doesn't cost less than a vette. A z06 but a base is still less. Fully agree with what you are saying though.

Actually, at $70K it would be about equivalent to a Z06.

At 80-90K it is about $10-20K more expensive.

Acceleration wise, it is about on par with a Z06, although I would expect the Vette to pull on top based on less driveline drag, less weight, and very more than likely, less drag.

And that still isn't counting the upcoming ZR-1, which will be slightly more expensive than the GTR.

I am not a big GM fan, but I really do like the C6.
