Check this out. He's doing apprx. 1 city block per second, roughly. So if a cop clocks him @ 200+, he's about a mile away by the time the cops get up to pursuit speed (that is if the cop reacts instantly). DAMN.

Yeah, um no.

Most jets when they land, which is the SLOWEST they go, are doing about 150-160MPH.

In cruise, most of them are closer to 500-600 MPH.

Special hardware, like the military fighter jets, and the SR-71 etc can easily exceed 1,000 miles per hour. The SR-71 could exceed 2,000 MPH by a fairly comfortable margin.

To put it in perspective, the SR-71 would spend about 1-2 minutes over the state of AZ when in full cruise. I would have to go back and look at the record, but I believe it flew from coast to coast and then back in under 3 hours.

Also, if it wasn't measured using the same equipment as the other supposed "record run" then it is really apples to oranges.

A 3% error which isn't super huge for a speedo would result in a 6-10MPH difference at that speed.
