they do go thru trannies...my cuz got one with about 100k on it, no tranny prob yet tho

if you look on the forums too, most with the replacments from acura still go out every 30k.

my friend had a 02 TL which he thought was the year that they fixed the issue, but his did it badly just recently. it took a shit.

those are nice cars but just got to find the ones with no tranny issues.

my friend had the type s with only 63k...they wouldnt warrenty the tranny because the vin didnt qualify for the replacment. we went round and round with the dealership, their claims department, and other dealerships. they also said its our fault for not servicing the tranny at normal intervals and doing the recomended service...but we did and no time they said to change the tranny and in the manual it states at only i think 125k to service the tranny...everything else was done by them like oil changes and stuff but they just didnt want to deal with us they gave us soo much trouble, that he went and found a used tranny for cheap unknown condition, put it in and traded it in for a 06 tl.

I just picked it up today it's a 200tl with 99k and I bought it for $7000.This thing is quick I was messing with my brothers Gsr and I owned him lol.Tranny is good and the guy didn't beat on it that much.It was a doctor and I had to drive to Massachusettes for it.I don't ever wanna go back to a 4cyl lol.I'll still be on cb7tuner because I haven't sold the cb yet.
