I have had it with the cb and I am tired of it.I am currently looking at a 00 TL with 97k and wanted to get input from you guys about this car.I just want to leave the tuner scene and get something that looks good from the factory and makes me look more mature.I'm tired of being broke throwing money into an old car whether it's maintenance, modification,etc.

+1 for the TL. I was looking into getting one before I bought my cb. Just wasn't ready to spend that kinda $ at the time. They are very nice cars. Especially if it's type s!

Yeah, those gen TL had a re-call on the tranny and most were rebuilt and I believe are covered for 100k. Something like that, extended warranty and rebuilt tranny's. I guess they auto's just aren't so good.Comment

99's (4 speed) didn't have the tranny problem as bad as 00-03's. They had the warranty extended anyway though.
The TL is very nice, but a car doesn't make you look mature, only what you do to it can detract from that i.e. yellow calipers, big wings, etc.
