Not always. Most streetable supras have more top end than anything but lag like a bitch down low especially the big singles. My friends c5z (dynoe 420whp last time i talked to him hes got some new stuff now) will keep up with his cousins 600whp supra until about third or so from a dig. He raced his cuz with about 370-385 whp at that time.Yes they are monsters but they really arent that great on hooking down low unless you have something. As for highway running its a different story. There have been domestics able to run with high hp supra aka twin turbo vipers and vettes. Anyway that car is for sale. They have been trying to sell it for the past year or two.

I drove a stock turbo supra a few times. Until you hit about 4K rpm's it feels like you're driving a camry. I imagine no amount of work will really fix the torqueless feel of it...of course, once it kicks in then the thing becomes a beast.
