would the f22c engine/tranny/rear end fit the 3rd gen hatch?

on the stairs, she grabs my arm, says whats up,
where you been, is something wrong?
i try to just smile, and say everything’s fine.

Deev. if you find that you need anything small and random i have an 89 LX-i sitting out in a field at my house. Im sure we can work something out. its wrecked in the front end, but the motor is pretty complete. My sister slammed into the back of an S-10 with it. lol.
-RIP Eric Hall. Miss you brother-

i thought you ended up selling that. guess not. i wouldn't mind driving a 3rd gen. the only ones i see are all beaten up. i suppose it's only normal for an 18-20 year old car that people don't really take pride in.

I did, to acclude91, last year... and then got it back this year He fixed a few things (brakes, suspension, windshield), but sadly, the motor didn't do too well after sitting so long at my house (and his... after he stopped driving it)

The body is still in good shape. The interior needs some stuff replaced. Overall, it's worth rebuilding the engine.

As for s2k parts, I'm not sure. I have to measure still... I'd like to do it to either the hatch, or a CB7. I will make SOME Accord RWD someday, dammit!

The CB7 IS on the road. Not fixed, but on the road. I COULD run it down the track as-is...

Yeah, waiting for that... of course, maybe that's what I need to really get going on that! I should probably put the stock hood back on...

I want to rebuild the A20A to get some experience though. The A won't be pushed as hard as the H, and it isn't nearly as expensive to replace if I screw up!

and it's harder to screw up the internals....the rest of the engine bay is a different story!

Get a good variety of torque wrenches and make yourself a nice clean area to do the work. The rest of the tools you can borrow/rent when they are needed but the wrenches you will use time and time again.

Yeah, I've got an Autozone 3 blocks away, a Pep Boys 6 blocks away (with neighbors that used to work there, that can still get discounts ), and an Advance Auto popping up 2 blocks further. I'm covered when it comes to access to tool rentals!

I'll be doing the build in my basement (that'll be fun getting the engine in and out... ) Not the greatest area, but it's the only place I have where I can spread out. I REALLY wish I had a good garage! I have to make due with what I have though... I don't plan on doing anything too quickly. I probably won't put the motor back in until spring. That'll give me all winter to take my time with it!
