Rode in a 99 Grand Am GT 3400 V6

Yo...My neighbor has 2 Pontiacs....

a 99 Grand Am GT coupe 3400 Ram Air V6

and

a 2001 Grand Prix GT coupe 3800 V6 ( N/A ) no supercharger

personally...I like that Grand AM...

he told me his Grand AM hits 140+...I was yeah right!...so we jump in his Grand AM...because he said his Grand Prix takes a dump at 120mph...( runs out of breath )...so we jump on RT 2 ( Port Clinton, Ohio )...and he jumps on it ....I shit you not...If I had a camcorder I would've taped it.....that Grand Am hit 150..( what its registered for )...in like 6 minutes!.....I was SERIOUSLY amazed!

and to boot...its an automatic I thought those had rev limiters and governers on em? anyhoo...Im very impressed with the performanced of that Grand AM GT my neighbor has!

NOW, I want one!

Nope...no supercharger... but I tell you what...that Grand Am GT ...gave me a different view of them!

before it hit 108xxx miles the tranny went out...

nope ..no exaggerating....it took around 6 to 10 minutes for it to reach 150....because from the RT2/CR53 junction to 163/RT2 junction..it takes 15 minutes doing 70!
