    My 2002 Suzuki GSX-R750

This is my 2002 GSX-R 750. I bought it in July of 2006 and I must admit that it caused me to drift away from this site. The site that supports these things though really leaves a lot to be desired as far as information is concerned. It's basically just there for sponsors to advertise. I did have it for sale though as I'm trying to get a GSX-R 1000 but I had to remove it due to losing the title. I should have a new one within a couple of weeks but I that's no big deal because I like riding it anyways. There is SO much done to this bike. Most of it was there when I purchased it but I've done a few things myself too. The mod list is as follows:

    Penske rear shock
    Scott's steering damper
    D&D full exhaust
    Dynojet/K&N Power Commander 3
    K&N air filter
    regeared for faster acceleration
    Goodridge stainless steel brake lines
    Woodcraft billet clutch cover
....and a few other tidbits here and there

Personally I haven't taken it to the track due to there not being any good ones right around me but the previous owner to it to Ennis and ran a 10.34. All I've done to it uploaded a new map and recharged the filter so I don't see it being MUCH faster in it's current state. I've also hit 179mph in it too but backed down because I nearly shat myself.

Let me know what you guys think about it.

Nice bike.... I want a 2005-2006 GSXR 1000 and I don't care much for the dual exhaust on the '07s.

That's the same bike I want and in the same blue/white paint scheme. I've been seriously looking into a couple here in Texas but like my first post said, I lost my title to this one so my search for a new one has been postponed. Oh well. Do you ride right now?

Man Cincy that's a pretty clean bike. I like your upper fairing a lot more than mine. The graphics on mine just accentuate the headlight and make it look twice as big as that behemoth already is.

Hey Nelson, what's up? I take it you finished TSTC? In regards to the bike, I don't know if you've ever owned one or ridden before but the 1000RR, or any liter bike for that matter is signing over your life if you get one as your first bike.

To anyone considering: I would recommend a 600 as a first bike purchase. And even that purchase should only be made after having someone teach you how to properly ride on a small bike(250-500) or preferably taking a class. A MSF class in my town was the best $180 I ever spent. Even better than the actual purchase of the bike. The bike can be taken from me or wrecked, but the knowledge and safety habits that I learned in that class are priceless. Granted I've thrown them out the door when I started doing wheelies and driving faster than any human has any business going. A big bike like a 1000 is the worst decision any brand new rider can make. Ride safe.

That Yoshimura is a full system I'm guessing? What else do you have done to it? Your friend's ZX-10R is baller....minus the yellow. Fast bike nonetheless. 184hp on a bike kicks some serious ass.

No I just did that one semester and came back to College Station to go to Texas A&M. But even that now has stopped just because I don't know what I want to do. Oh well, when I figure it out, I can always go back to either one.
