What should I do with the '93 SE? (Help)

I once again need advice. For those of you who have seen my car "at the NJ meet", do you think it has potential? I mean I really want a black 5-speed EX that has a good clean body. But ultimately should I keep the one I have and fix it up. Now for those who have saw my clean 93 SE, what's your take. For those who didn't see it, the car has 94,xxx miles, original paint that is excellent with no rust and mint interior, but only needs tranny. I have the money for a new tranny. Advice please.

I once was told that you could not hook an engine that had an auto tranny on it before, to a manual tranny. You know in order to do a auto to manual swap on my 94,xxx mile f22a. Is this true? I see the DIY's, but can I just go out, buy a busted manual cb7 and use all the parts???? Please people let me know? Thank you.

I wanna a fudging 5-speed. 5-speed = better performance + better gas milage + whole lot of fun + no neutral droppin' burnouts + all shit you get the point.

yes, 5 speed is fun to drive, but it sounds like your car is in really great condition so i would advise against selling it.

think about it, you have none of the major problems that a lot of the members on this board have. i mean, your car has 94,000 original miles! thats incredible for a 16 year old car! you said you still have the original paint with no rust too. thats also great for a 16 year old car.

so i would keep it, but hey thats me. if you really, and i mena really, wanted to get a 5 speed car, you could sell it. if you do, make sure you get enough money for it! the one thing i can suggest which has already been said is too do the swap since you said you're tranny's already bad.

anyway, good luck with your decision.
