b16b 6th gen civic swap help anyone?

This might be better placed on a different site, and it isnt even my car.

Its my friends car and he is having trouble finding info and yes he did try other sites and you know how some of those other Honda sites can be >_>.

Only question is if someone has a link to a DIY or actual info we can use we would be grateful.

The car is just a 6th gen civic ex.

He is havin issues with the harness and ecu set-up.

If anyone has seen a b18c OBD II swap guide or b16b swap guide (not likely) wanna shoot a link?

I thought they were direct drop in the civics? THe only diff was the wiring I think. You might wanna contact accord_r33 since he did an itr swap into his integra he might be able to give you some pointers.

      the motor is OBD2 right?

Should be a direct swap if it is.

                harness is obd2 ;o.

question we have now is the dizzy plugs and wires are different the old EX motor hand an additional wire and the plugs are different.

we have the type-r dizzy plug male and female, should we just hook up the wires in the same order (non of the colors match ) or is there something else that needs to be done?
