$700 project: 1988 CRX SI

I bought this last fall for $700 from a friend that was running 14.1's with it on a 50 shot of spray. He put the motor in it, ran it 3 times and it sat. So I took it off his hands. It is mechanically sound but the quarters were rusted. I driven the car for a bit until my dad bought. He wanted a gas saver to drive but he has received two speeding tickets with the rex so now i have it again. He said he didnt need a car with vtec. So now its basically gonna be my budjet project car....again

I was telling everyone I knew about this car and no one wanted it so I took it.

Its fun to go back and forth from the cb to the rex...the best of both worlds!

I do have some quarters I had cut off a clean crx, I just need to find time to get my dad to do the body work.

My friend tore the exhaust off from the axle back when he raced it. I am defintely going to upgrade the whole setup.

Yeah Des Moines is pretty chill for sure. I really havent been to too many place in Iowa besides the few larger cities.

ahhh yeah if u ever want a smaller town thats a lil less hectic, my ayr ftw man. plus they have a Caseys General store there. BEST donuts ive ever had in my life.

GSR Blades FTW! I want to put these on my ek but i love rex's slammed on blades.

I have had these for a while and they are still fairly clean.
