why would you put a 2j head on a 1j bottom end? the heads are pretty similar, but the 1j head 'flows' better. its the 2j bottom end that gets you all the boost capability. more people are putting 1j top ends on the 2j bottom, in fact ive never heard or seen anyone put a 2j top end on a 1j bottom.

That's the whole point to the "1.5JZ" swap

IM puttin the 2jz head because there was a flow chart of both heads. The 2jz head outflowed the 1jz head. Yea I am putting the head on the block if funds allow me to if not I am just gonna leave it as is.

In order to install the 1JZ onto pre 91 MKIII you will need the cross member from the 91-92 or from the JDM MKIII Clip
