Question on 06 Accord - Ideas to improve?

So my folks picked up an 06 Accord a while back.

Anyhow I wanted to ask a few questions.

Regarding AMSOIL SYN, about when should I make the change? I have about 4k on it already.

And regarding grounding kits and that nature, will buying one really make a difference on these new cars? If so will ebay or an expensive system matter?
The Hyper Ground kits and ebay ground kits look different.

    Merry Christmas Guys.

    Is it an I4 or a V6?

We just had the service done on my mom's car, and they said that the maintenance minder function would work in a "normal" climate, but since we live in hell and it gets so hot, it should be changed every 3,000-5,000 miles.

As far as synthetics go, tests have shown AMSOIL to not be the best synthetic.

It was outperformed by Mobil 1 full synthetic.

I personally like Castrol Syntec, but Mobil 1 would be my other choice.

The grounding kits may make a difference.

Honda tuning did one on a TL (very similar to the AV6) and it was good for about 5-7WHP, but you have to take their dyno numbers with a grain of salt, because sometimes the companies selling the product want to see better results.

They used one of the expensive Sun kits too, with the actual voltage stabilizer. Not the cheap Ebay crap.

      Thanks.

      It's a 4 Cyc.

I suppose an expensive grounding kit would be better. I googled and sun kits were costly lol. Any other companies?

On the synthetic. I know MOBIL 1 is one of the bests out there but by labelling 'fully syn', it's hard to know if it's really 100% SYN.

But either brand is fine I would think.

Fully synthetic means that it is 100% synthetic, as opposed to a synthetic blend (regular oil + synthetic oil).

A blend is designed to be slightly better than regular motor oil, while not being as costly as fully synthetic motor oil.

          Mobil 1

          Amsoil

and Syntec are all 100% synthetic.

Mobil 1 outperformed Amsoil, I don't know where Syntec stands, but I do like it, and regular Castrol GTX is VERY good oil.
