Alright. So my little sister drives a 1993 Mercury Tracer. The cigarette (sp?) lighter does not work. Didnt know if anyone on here happened to have a wiring diagram for that or know what I should check to get it to work again. She keeps bugging me about it now that she has finally ditched the loser she called a bf who always said he would fix it. Needless to say that never happened, so now it is up to good ole big brother (thats me)... Any help would be appreciated. She has the haynes manual for it but there is no mention of the Cig lighter. Just thought maybe someone would be able to help me out. I have a volt meter and basic electrical tools like that. Thanks in advance ... Later

Get rid of her and the car....LOL Im just kidding! It is better you take care of the problem rather than that thing she called a boyfriend. I have no advice to help you with! Ill see you in a bit!"You are part of a great thing. Live for it, Talk for it and dream for it."

nah... you could easily goto wal mart and get some wire, an in-liine fuse holder, and a new lighter housing... then just run the wires right to + and ground.
im fixin to do this in the CB7 shortly as a second plug.
