Crankwalk;
Something that DSM drivers get when they become too cocky and decide to race a actuall import, like a honda or VW. It is a out of spec moving of the crankshaft (perticaully in 7-bolt 4G63s)side to side and WILL destroy your engine
Yo dogg, meh clips got some crankwalk and that teg owned meh

It was my buddies car. He treated that thing like his baby for years and has rebuilt the engine several times (due to racing it). Right now it has been sitting for about a year, so it just needs a good tuneup and to be driven softly for a little while.
Also I'm not planning on driving this all of the time. My CB7 is for daily driving and cruising, this DSM is going to be only for special occasions.
Also he's getting rid of it because he joined the army and is going to Italy for 3 years and doesn't want to see the car rot. So I should be picking it up for a very good price.I read somewhere that marijuana effects the memory. For some reason I can't seem remember where I read that. -- max sideburn(aka torqstr)

Ok, should be doing the paperwork in the next day or two. Here's the details on the car as I know them now.
engine was rebuilt 20K ago and has no internal problems, no oil leaks, etc...
mildly regrinded cams
manual boost controller (car is running at 18psi)
motor is bored 20 over
transmission has been built for racing
brand new racing puck clutch with less than 1K on it
all new CV axles
all new brakes
all new struts (pretty much entire suspension and drivetrain is new)
even the interior needs only minor work
when tested with one of those "cigarette lighter dynos", which I hear are at least accurate to within 10HP or so this car tested at about 285HP and has run a 12.8 quarter mile on several occassions.I read somewhere that marijuana effects the memory. Bah don't listen to all the Haters I've had 4 1g's in my time, 2 gsx and 2 tsi's didn't have a single issue with crank walk, walk was seen predominately in the 2g's and even than only roughly 20% of the 7 bolts got the famed crank walk. I'm looking for a 1g myself right now. Good snag, welcome to the dsm family. Plus if that tranny is already built than I envy you.
