Thats nice....i was just talking to a friend about this the other day. Engine covers, not cf ones. I hate how the newer cars, like the newer Tiburons, have a cover over 80% of the engine. I get "the look" and the purpose and all, but i would have a hard time if i had to remove the cover everytime i wanted to work on it and it just doesnt seem right to me. What ever happened to just poppin the hood, reaching in there and getting your hands dirty?

We have one on our 03 maxima, and to take it off, is just 2 1/2 turn clips. Not a problem at all.

the reason is they car makers want you to take the car to the dealer, to fix all your problems

The main reason for engine covers is acoustic sound reduction.

The second main reason is to make the engine bay look cleaner.

And those do look really cool.

i like it.. but at the same time i dont like it.. the carbon fiber idea and all that is really nice.. but.. the engine need to be scoop out more.. and i cant think if any idea to make that carbon fiber look good in the engine like that. even if u paint the engine it just doesnt look right. too shiny and the rest of the engine is just solid. kno what i mean? it's like fiberglassin the engine bay. looks wrong.. remind me of my toy car that i use to drive when i was little.
