This is my friends 99 Impreza. It's pretty quick, tons of bolt-ons. Right now it has gunmetal STI rims.

I know its an easy enough swap...but this style beats the new ones hands down.

The swap isn't nearly as easy a typical Honda swap. The wiring doesn't really match up at all.

Really? I thought the EJ20 was a relative drop in for those cars.

yes, i knew they made them overseas...but if they shoulda put them in here to begin with...165 hp wasn't enough

Mechanically yes, wiring wise no. A typical WRX swap for those cars will cost you about $5k at a shop....the motor/trans is under 2k.
