            the mitsubishi 3000s were prone to problems in the transfer cases. i dunno if those problems were fixed with the updated ones but what can beat a twin turbo awd. they're just heavy

                Only when modded. In stock form they are pretty reliable as long as scheduled maintaince is performed. Its a nice car to keep stock IMO. Modding it will introduce way too many headaches.

                      Those were 65,000 when new if I remember right, at least for the VR4 model. I believe they were introduced in 1994, if I recall correctly. I think I have a Car and Driver laying around somewhere that had the first roadtest on the Sypder. It debuted after the first minor freshening of the car.

                        Ah yes. It was when the sharp lines inthe body were smoothed out a bit more. 1994 does sound accurate now that I think about it.

                          65K!?! Fuck that! but i guess youre gonna get what you pay for, huh? Ive seen quite a few of those in my time. Id say probly around a dozen or so, maybe more. Gotta love them heavy, fat-body rides!
