to be honest, it really is just as fast as my accord was (not that i think my accord was all that fast) but it pulls very close to the same. but it does lack the "fun factor" of the BOV and turning heads

I have two on my car! It added at least 600HP. Then I added the NOS sticker and broke the welds on my intake manifold. That sucked. $1,000 down the drain. It was a spoon NSX manifold.
God, I need to lay off the drugs!
Seriously though, you will learn in time that a Honda revving to 9 grand and not blowing up is going to turn more heads. And then they will assume you have boost, and will be disappointed that you don't (while trying to pretend they aren't upset of course).
i have to agree with the 9g revs, that will turn heads. congrats on the R, it looks sweet. i am hoping to just do the c5 head swap on my gsr. good luck!
i know that our f22a are pretty close gsr in head flow, how bout da c5, IS IT EVEN CLOSE????
I still say the F22a head flow is relative...there is almost a .5 litre difference in displacement, so you cant compare RAW flow numbers. it would have to be in proportion to the displacement.
But anyway..the c5 head does flow a bit more. its hand "port and polished", along with the intake and exhaust manifold, from the factory
