i bought this 96 civic cx as a winter beater 2 weeks ago for $1100.
an old asian man was asking $2100, but with....266,000k!!....on the ticker he was happy with my offer. he was og owner and used this to drive 1.5hrs each way everyday for ten years. this was only a commuter, as i saw his new maxima and subaru in there garage.
the good: body is 85% mint (paint fading a little), and the inside is 98%. also no dents/dings/rust.
drives/shifts 100%. almost new inspection sticker.
the bad: timing belt/waterpump hasnt been done sense 150K. cracked exhaust manny. only 106 horses. and the worst of all......auto-fags-dick tranny!
i bought a cheapo header off ebizznee and put it in today. the godamb cx/dx/lx had the cat attached right off the manifold, so i had to scratch the cat and gain a cel.
this is the newest car ive ever owned. it will remain stock and serve as my daily so i may procede with my f22b plans.
