thats exactly what I thought. i wonder what dumbass decided to put that on there. theres a lot of black cb7 tuners that would kill for it!!! haha

Probably ghetto rigged, with the plugs cut off, and the resistors thrown in the trash. I don't think it's oem though, because the led is short, and from what I remember short led spoilers were on the SE/JDM with more angled proportions. So since it looks like the U.S. spoiler, its likely a replica.

yeah I noticed the short LED bar. you're right. it probably is a replica which might explain why it's on there on the first place.

i believe i have seen a M5 spoiler before and they are completely different looking. i think they are similar looking to the first gen M3s. i still want a first gen M5. one came into the BMW dealership when i was working there. it was black on black, completely stock, and had only 55K on it! it was also for sale. the guy wanted like 17K or so which i think was a good deal considering this was back in 99-00.
