They are not real common. You figure most people buying hatches bought them because they were cheap, fuel efficient, practical, or all of the above. It was a pretty select group of enthusiasts who ponied up the cash for an Si.

Keep in mind too, that this is THE founding Honda in the modern tuning scene as we know it, so even though the Si badge was revered by those in the know, but that group was much much smaller than today.

They aren't impossible to find, but it is getting hard to find unmolested ones in good shape, especially with a decent price tag. Unfortunately, a lot have body kits, unrepairable damage, and hack ass engine swaps.

This one is in good shape, believe me.

Would it be an easy task to convert a DX to have the power mirrors and windows?

It's something thats has been of real interest to see if it would actually be possible.

I know for a fact that the later hatchbacks were still the same.

Baseline DX with no power options but I know that in Europe they have power moonroofs, mirrors and windows..I dont know about any hatchback owner but I wouldn't be able to live without the power options.

Absolutely. One of the great things about the EG was the interchangability of parts. It might not be easy, but it is certainly possible. It has actually been done many times, and EVERYTHING about this chassis has already been done.

That is one great thing about the SI, it pretty much had everything except power windows, and maybe mirrors. Even the moonroof.

Ray, does your car have power mirrors? I am pretty sure it does....

Well if its possible in the EG..do you think the EK is one possiblity?

Sorry about the 20 questions. I like hatches alot as you can tell but I cant stand the fact that they came from the factory basically power option-less.

Ek hatch to power everything is not that hard... Try finding an EX coupe that you can get ALL the parts off of...

Ray The Hatch Looks Great... I'm debating on going Tirbo w/ my Mini Me or just drop a LS into my 97' ex coupe.... Let me know how it feels when you install it.

im going to be installing a greddy kit with neptune management for tuning,it should be fun.

and yes it has all power options except power windows at least for the moment until i find another set of jdm power windows or a ex coupe to get them out of.

otherwise it has every option my ex coupe has.

i love driving this thing.its actually taken me away from my accord some but i still love my accord too. but its nice to be able to drive this while im working on the accord.

and im sticking to my wheel whore status heres a few more pics with the other set of wheels on it and my racing harts.

The EG Si had power everything but locks and windows. I believe its also the only EG to get rear disc.

Ray...are those Integra or EK seats with different headrests, because I know they're not Si seats.

(For those who don't know my best friend has a 92 Si...)

I'd love to pick one of those up though...they're like a big go-kart.
