this local guy i know ran a 996tt last week. the porsche guy was claiming 7xxhp, which is pure bullshit... by the way his car ran, we're assuming somewhere in the 1000hp range. he pulled on the z like it wasnt moving.

the first run, the porsche got a jump, the 2nd run at about 1:20 was a clean race. from what the porsche owner says, he has about $300k total invested.

I thought the 996tt weighed around 3400lbs. Factory AWD turbo boxer 6... ~450bhp factory (expect lots of drivetrain loss). Im sure it handles like a dream.

Id like to see them on a roadcourse. I'd bet it would be REALLY embarassing for the z.

too true. the z is fuckin fast. its not his daily, but he's always rolling on radials. guess its all about perspective. we might think a turbo H is fast... but that z would do to us what the porsche did to it.
