Turbo F22A1 Prelude

Hey this is my 93 Honda Prelude. I had a thread on it once before but the pics were to small. I got some better pics but forgot to take some of the motor Well anyways, it's a 93 prelude with a custom t4 turbo kit running at 8psi right now. It has the F22A1 motor in it. 3" downpipe with a 2 1/2" tanabe racing exhaust. Stage 3, 6 puck clutch with a 8lb flywheel. I've got a new fuel rail, new injectors and an e-manage ultimate that will be going on it at the end of the week. I'll be having it all installed and dyno-tuned on Friday. I'll let everyone know what the numbers are! I'll get somemore pics too! Well here's my car, let me know what you think.

I would say put a lip on it, but that would be horribly counterproductive since it woul dblock the intercooler. looks good dude.

i love how the IC is so inconspicuous! there might be some kind of not too flashy body kit bumper you could put on unless you wanna leave it like that, which is still cool, and would scare the shit outta me if i saw it.

may I suggest offsetting the license plate over the IC piping to allow more flow to the IC itself?

I like the project idea, front-end just needs to be redone to protect that intercooler and also be held up better.

yeah the zipties are my favorite too...lol. I'm planning on kitting out the car but I want to get it running like I want before I go doing to much with the way it looks. I'm just going to keep the stock look right now for the most part. You know I might have to do that and relocate my license plate. Oh and for not hitting a dip, I don't really have a bad problem with dips. It's speed bumps that kill me!

Thanks, I agree with you about redoing the front end. I'm going to be doing a whole kit but that won't happen probably for like a month or two.

Your car is pimp man. I love how the intercooler just sticks out of the front bumper like that. I have a question bout the Tanabe exhaust. Did you get the muffler itself and do the piping or did the complete system itself come with the 2.5" piping?

I got it as a catback system. It came with 2 1/2" all the way back. There is one spot about 1" long that is like 2" right after the resignator, but it goes right back to the 2 1/2" again. The whole exhaust was like aroung $550.00. I love it, it sounds great.

I'm hopefully going to be going to the track this coming Sat. This will be the first time that it's been to a track. I did a 0-100mph run the other day and I made it in right at like 11.2sec. So hopefully I'll be able to run in the low 13's. I'm taking it to get dyno tuned this Friday. I'm hoping for a good number. I'll keep you posted on everything.
