why don't people try anything new?....... i mean how many people are doing 240sx drift cars?..... come on, find anything RWD and put in a LSD rearend, some bolt ons and use skill. who cares if you can't drift a full lap at Tsukuba. power, and being the same isn't the drifting style its all about doing your thing......but....hey its your money.

we were wanting to do a Porsche 944 and swap in an LS1, but could find one in the price range.... plus if we fucked up the Porsche body panels are hard to find and really expensive.....

      Plus the 240 was $700

the stock ka24de is not a shit motor. when your friend is racing a 03 rsx type s and hangs with it, stock, you know whats up.

Nitrous is like a hot chick with an STD. You know you wanna hit it, but your afraid of the consequences.

nothing drastic with suspension, maybe some TEIN or HKS full coil overs with pillow ball mounts, upgraded swaybars/endlinks, and replacing a couple bushings here and there with polyurethane

ok, tonight we got ALL wiring removed from the doors forward. carpet and seats are out as well. went to a junkyard today and got the body, dash and engine wiring harnesses from a 95 240SX SE for $150 just so we KNOW everything will plug up.....and its a good thing we did. when we returned to the garage, wiring in tow, we come to find that there were no less that 15 plugs missing from the harnesses that we had. THANK GOD FOR JUNKYARDS!!!! so now that we have a clean slate to start with as far as wiring is concerned, we can begin rewiring tomorrow afternoonso hopefully within a few days we can have a test fire....

                    MORE TO COME.....STAY TUNED!~!!!!

Turbo is cool and all, but supercharging isn;t done very often. It'd be a unique set-up. Hey, if the ford GT can do with UBER torque at idle, then I think you can pull it off.

No, I don't need anyone to explain the difference between turbo and supercharging. I already know.

Hmmm I read in a magazine that the KA24DE could support up to almost 400-500whp on stock internals. True or not, I cant remember about the numbers but those sound right in my head. I mean it'd cost some money for the right set-up and everything but, if so thats fucking sweet!

But anywho yeah that looks halfway decent man, I just dont like it because its white. White 240's never sat well w/ me for some reason. Other than that it looks pretty clean, and I bet it was a bitch ripping all the interior pieces out. I member trying to remove my friends 89 240sx's dash. Thats thing was a major PITA, especially w/ the digital shit in the cluster. Keep up the good work none-the-less!

The con rods and crank are forged factory, but the pistons are cast pieces. so swapping the pistons for some lower compression forged units, plus the strnegth of the iron block, yes i believe that it can handle 400-500 whp.

Supercharging is kinda a rare thing on 240s yea, but also you have to think about adjustments to boost. with a turbo you adjust your boost controller, with superchargers, you have to take off the belt, undo the pulley, then replace it with the one you want, etc, etc. all in all its just more involved. and right off hand i dont think ive ever seen a supercharged 240sx...
