ok, the project is officially a dud. it is over due to more wiring issues than we can handle.
we have found a 1988 Mitsubishi Starion for $300(shop bill) it is on a mechanical lein, so we are getting rid of the 240SX. If you need any parts, let me know either on this thread, by PM or email @ fuzion_mech5@yahoo.com

I don't know about their drift capabilities but my buddy has a maroon Starion with a T3/TO4E running a huge front mount and he wasted an SRT/10 Viper. He's also running around 20 psi. Gotta love an iron block. Just be careful with fuel delivery. He's having to do some type of custom fuel delivery due to the factory setup only having two injectors. Research that first hand.
My Members' Ride Thread - It's a marathon build, not a sprint. But keep me honest on the update frequency!

Cool project, s13/14 are fun to work on. This is my brother's s14 project.....I'm the designated mechanic for now. Too bad you're axing the project.....

we are axing it because it has electrical gremlins so even if we did finish the wiring it would have issues, and we picked the Starion today. its a 1988 with 48k on it and it is 99.999% perfect it is amazing. All we have to do with this one is eliminate the balance shaft, and replace a few gaskets. We KNOW this one runs cuz the guy drove it to the shop.

EDIT:: glad to know im not the only one who uses the cherry picker to lift cars onto jackstands

Actually, I had the entire lower cross member out to do the pan gasket, the water pump, and also the front main seal. No more oil leaks!! I did use a floor jack to get 'er up there. That's a home made hoist BTW, you can lift about 2-3 tons with it!!
