ThirdWorld Customs' 240SX Drift project ***56k NO NO**

We have begun a drift car. Its a 1990 S13 240SX SE(hatch). Its white with a grey/black interior. its an auto right now, but after we complete the re-wiring process we will swap in a 5spd. The KA24E SOHC has been trashed in favor of the KA24DE DOHC from an 95 S14. the first pic is of the ghetto ass sunroof that is siliconed shut for some reason..............

its sorta like a f22a1 for an f22b.

but yea, my friend has a white coupe that looks like that, hes putting his SR20 into it and stripping the interior. should be pretty nice.

we spent most of tonight gutting the interior. now the wiring fiasco begins.

oh and soy, no the DOHC 2.4 comes with a forged crank and con rods stock, a better flowing head and an all around better motor for boost when compared to the SOHC 2.4

oh, and we got it all for $700

Actually the K24 dohc and sohc are good torque horses with a turbo setup. Its wildy favored now in Japan due to the more torque compared to the SR20DE and DET. But yeah dude is there a doctor in the house??? CAUSE ROFL AT LATEX GLOVES ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL. Man I never used gloves when working on a car hahaha.

Awesome keep up posted Nick, definitely a cool project and looks like fun. So are you and Ben basically stripping out all the BS and making this car alot simpler to work on/maintain and just less to go wrong overall? That the concept?

                      Lookin good.

well, we are converting the crank driven fan to dual electric, and completely removed the AC, mainly for more power and less weight(AC) interior gutting is for the obvious....weight saving

oh yea its gettin Boost... leaning towards a T3/T04E not sure of the trim yet, but that turbo seems to get some good numbers on the KA24DE

Boost in the neighborhood of 20-25lbs

                              BOOST BITCHES!!!
