adding an aftermarket cd changer to an oem radio - volvo

This isn't praticularly aimed at CB7's but more towards my moms car. The OEM stereo has a Cd button and all that 123 etc. Now my question is, the car didn't come with a CD changer. so say if I buy a cheap one will the OEM radio Cd controls work with the Aftermarket or would I have to buy a remote for the Cd changer. LMK Thanks

should be able to work find, used to sell em at work for $25 ish. what brand cd changer are you getting? i personally like alpine changers for sound quality. volvos are usually prewired even if the cd changer isnt there so maybe you can get lucky and get a stock changer on ebay if you want to go the cheaper route.

I looked, Don't really know what kind of Cd changer im going. I think I might just buy a cheap one or something and put it in because I'm not going to be driving the car just my mom and I'll be along for the ride sometimes. Here is a picture if it helps
